Andrew's Comments
From the looks of it, Nexuiz has followed in the footsteps of UT2004 by making a node based game type where node ownership equals victory. Onslaught was extremely popular on the UT2004 servers (and still is, though mostly the demo maps 'Primeval' and 'Torlan') and with this inclusion Nexuiz has something else to offer the FPS gamer. It seems that there aren't many servers running the single onslaught map available and if you want to have a solo game against the bots it doesn't seem that onslaught is 'bot compatible' as the bots on my server didn't move. I'll have to wait till I can join a server with human players to really get the feel of this game type, but from what I've seen it should be fun and popular escape from the standard deathmatch battles.

Obviously there's some bugs in this new game type to be worked out and more maps to be designed but I think that this shows that Nexuiz is still alive and kicking.
