Review: Everybody Votes Channel - 03/03/2008 by Andrew
Party
This Wii freebee came in pretty early and was a simple free download for the people that had their Wii hooked up to broadband and who hadn't chipped the living hell out of it. The premise was simple: Ask a question that only has two answers, ask which one you would choose and then ask which one you think the majority would choose. Simply stuff huh?
The questions range from Coffee or Tea to slightly freakier one like Have you ever seen a UFO. That last one was series, it was on tonight. You get the feeling sometimes that some shadow government is reviewing all the answers and are deciding who needs to get reprogrammed.
You can have multiple people voting so if you have a family or a bunch of friends that refuse to leave you can all get in on the action together. There's even a bit where it shows your brain size and your distance from popular opinion - so there's bragging rights for the clever ones.
One thing to note is that a new question is added every day or so, if you don't choose then they get dropped off the list. So no UFO question for you, that's been done.
All in all, it's a freebee so you don't expect a whole lot from this, though it is well made, nice music and it's done in such a way that you can't be in the channel for a long time. 10 minutes is more than enough to answer all the question and see the results of previous questions, so you can't really get bored.
If you did have to buy this title, then the rating would be in the single digits. As it's free, download it if you have people to vote with or you're really bored :D
