Review: Mii Contest Channel - 03/03/2008 by Andrew Party This is a more recent addition to the freebee channels that Nintendo has graced Wii owners. The premise is to create Mii's (that's the people you create on the Wii for though who haven't seen them) that look like something specified (like Mario without his hat) and then submitted to be voted on as well as voting on other people's submissions. I don't really care all that much for making a Mii look like a Wizard etc, so I end up doing something which is much more enjoyable; I submit the most bizarre Mii's or the ones that a completely against what was requested...and then I vote for the ones doing the same thing. I know it's childish, but this is the Wii. And there is something funny about voting for three cyclopes (or is it cyclopii?) when it's for Princess Peach lookalikes. One interesting thing though is after a contest is over you get to see the top 50 entries, which isn't that interesting, though you do get to see the Mii's of the creators - some of these should win awards. Oh, you can choose to import any of the top 50 entries but you can't edit them in the Mii channel. I can't honestly give this a decent score because honestly, it's pretty lame. Even for something free. Add 30 to the rating if you're under 10 and/or still wet the bed. 40/100
